- I am learning C++ programming on my own right now and wondering if
- there is any kind of certification I can complete which will help me
- gain employment in this field. Currently, I'm about a year shy of a
- BS in MIS as I wait to become a resident of Georgia. To be honest, I
- wish I'd pursued a straight CS degree.
-
- I'd really like to hear stories from folks about how they first
- overcame the hurdle of gaining meaningful employment without
- meaningful work experience. To me this seams to be the all time great
- "Catch 22". My plans are to try to produce some shareware while I'm
- learning the language in order to build on a resume. Comments on this
- or other ideas would be very appretiated.

- If anyone knows of training programs in the Atlanta area that I might
- be interested in, please...
